We want you to be happy with your purchases form One Good Thread, including advance purchases (“Pre-Orders”) from us. Please read the following Policies prior to placing your order.

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.

Policies may be subject to change depending on various conditions.

 

PAYMENTS
One Good Thread gladly accepts the following major forms of payment: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. We do not accept personal checks or money orders.

 

COUPON CODES
Coupon code may be redeemed by entering the code in the appropriate box at checkout. Only one coupon code/offer can be applied to an individual order.

 

SALES TAX
Sales tax is required by law to be charged for purchases made and shipped within the State of Washington and rates may vary by city.

 

ITEM AVAILABILITY

Please be aware that adding an item to your shopping cart does not guarantee that this item will be available upon checkout, as items are not removed from online inventory until the checkout is completed.

 

SIZING 
Product sizing varies by designer and sometimes within the same brand, depending upon the style and fabric used.  The best way sometimes to know what size to purchase is to measure and get real life “fit” answers based on our experience with a designer or particular item.  Feel free to email us at customerservice@onegoodthread.com with any sizing questions you may have.

 

FOOTWEAR

ALL FOOTWEAR PURCHASED AT ONE GOOD THREAD IS NON-REFUNDABLE.  Free shipping is not included in the exchange of shoes. Buyer must pay actual shipping costs to ship back. 

 

HOLIDAY ITEMS

Sales of holiday items are considered final the day of the holiday. Packages postmarked after the day of the holiday will be rejected.

 

PRE-ORDERS

At times, our Designers release their Collection details and pricing prior to actual availability of those Collections in our warehouse for shipping. Our loyal customers love the ability to reserve or “Pre-Order” these or our own unique Collection items, so we are happy to allow our customers the option to reserve these items using our Pre-Order process, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our Pre-Order policy is designed to provide our customers who really want the newest Collection items as soon as they are available, and are willing and able to timely pay for them to be given first priority on those items. Therefore, Pre-Orders are not eligible for Layaway. (See our Layaway policy below).

  • Because we respect our Designers, and they respect us for our integrity, we notify our customers in advance, and advertise and release our Pre-Order Collections for sale only when allowed to do so by the Designer. As well, we only put our products on discounted sale, only when allowed to do so by the Designer.
  • Pre-Order items ship only when product is received at our warehouse, which can be a few days to possibly a month or later than the Collection release date and your initial Pre-Order purchase date. (We generally otherwise try to ship all normal orders within 24 hours of order awaiting fullfillment).
  • Once your Pre-Order is placed, we will reserve the item(s) for you, removing them from expected and available inventory.
  • Pre-Orders require a deposit of at least 25%.
  • All Pre-Orders are subject to a 10% non-refundable charge of the gross order amount if the Pre-Order is canceled at any time after order is placed and deposit paid after the first 48 hours of placing the order.
  • All Pre-Orders not on a payment plan require full payment within 3 days after notification that the product has arrived at our warehouse and before shipping, or an automatic cancelation will occur (See below. Cancellation charges may apply).
  • We generally notify our customers in plenty of time before Pre-Order Collections arrive in our warehouse, to allow all Pre-Orders to be paid in full, and then get shipped as expeditiously as possible.

How to Pre-Order with One Good Thread:

  • Add items labeled “Pre-Order” to your cart, just as you would when making an “in stock” purchase; then proceed to checkout.
  • During checkout you may choose one of three options for your Pre-Order

-       Pay in Full - No code is needed at checkout. 

-       Pay 25% or more at checkout – Use the Code DEPOSIT25 at checkout and 25% of the purchase will be charged once the order is placed.

-       Pay 50% or more at checkout – Use the Code DEPOSIT50 at checkout and 50% of the purchase will be charged once the order is placed.

  • If you elect to pay only a portion of your purchase, the remaining order balance due will be set up on a PayPal payment plan. Shortly after you complete your order, you will receive an email with a link to begin the payment plan. Please read the email fully, and follow its instructions for selecting and creating your payment plan. Depending on when the Pre-Order Collection is scheduled to arrive at our warehouse, you can choose your payment schedule - daily, weekly or bi-weekly (every other week). The first payment will be due within the first week after receiving your payment plan email.
  • Always feel free to contact One Good Thread at TheOrderRoom@OneGoodThread.com if you prefer to pay the balance early, since this helps prevent any delays in shipping the item(s) once in stock.
  • Pre-Order merchandise will only be shipped when the order is paid in full and product is in stock.
  • Pre-Order cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation charge after order is placed and minimum deposit is paid, after 48 hours of placing order.
  • All Pre-Orders not on a payment plan must be paid in full no later than 3 days after notification that the product has arrived at our warehouse, or the order will be canceled. Cancellation charges may apply.
  • If you wish to cancel your Pre-Order, you must do so either within 14 days of the original order being placed, or prior to the product arriving at our warehouse (whichever comes first), in order to get a refund of deposits made to date less cancellation charges. (Our apologies - these “early payment, deposit or downpayment” refund transactions are subject to PayPal and/or Credit Card Merchant Services policies for refund time limitations (i.e., 30 - 45 days for Credit Card refunds) and not under our control).
  • If a Pre-Order is not canceled within the 14 day period, or prior to product arrival in our warehouse (whichever comes first), and full payment is not otherwise made within 3 days after notification that the product has arrived, all deposits and payments become non-refundable and are applied to your online account, less the 10% cancellation charge. Since no shipping has occurred, there would be no reduction for shipping charges.
  • Pre-Orders are subject to our Shipping Policy.
  • Pre-Order deposits cannot be applied toward existing orders, other than the order the deposit was initially placed on, but can be applied to future orders.
  • Returns of purchases made from Pre-Orders will be handled the same as other orders, and either issued a full refund less shipping and handling charges plus the 10% cancellation charge, or a store credit towards a future order, again less applicable shipping and handling and cancellation charges.
  • Returns of Pre-Orders made over 30 days after the Pre-Order was placed (still within the 14 day Return Policy limits after receipt) are subject to an in store credit only, less shipping costs of the item(s). (Our apologies - these “early payment, downpayment or deposit” refund transactions are subject to PayPal and/or Credit Card Merchant Services policies for refund time limitations (i.e., 30 - 45 days for Credit Card refunds) and not under our control).
  • In the event that an item you pre-order becomes unavailable (this is rare) or does not arrive to our store within 30 days of the expected arrival date, we will cancel the Pre-Order upon your request and offer you a full refund on the deposit or payment towards that order. After 30 days, we can only offer an in-store credit for the full amount of the deposit or payments made to date.

 

Layaway Order Policies

  • We are very proud to offer a layaway option when shopping with OneGoodThread.com! Layaways are much like pre-orders, and can be used anytime after new products are in stock.  Orders containing 75% Pre-Order items, will fall under the Pre-Order guidelines.
  • You can put either 25% down or 50% down using the associated deposit codes on any in-stock item and then have up to 45 days to pay off the remaining balance.
  • During checkout you may choose one of these options for your Layaway:

-       Pay 25% or more at checkout – Use the Code LAYAW25 at checkout and 25% of the purchase will be charged once the order is placed.

-       Pay 50% or more at checkout – Use the Code LAYAW50 at checkout and 50% of the purchase will be charged once the order is placed.

  • Please make a note in the comment section of your order confirmation (see picture below) of how you'd like to set up the payment plan for your layaway items – weekly, bi-weekly (every two weeks) or monthly.
  • If no note is provided, we will contact you within 48 hours to help you set one up.
  • If a payment plan is not set-up within a week following the time of purchase, or if payments are not made on a timely basis per your payment plan, your order will be cancelled and a 10% restocking fee per month, will be applied. The remaining deposit will be issued as in-store credit to your account.
  • Pre-Order or newly released Collections are not eligible for Layaway until they are in stock. Once your Layaway order is placed, we will reserve the item(s) for you, removing them from expected and available inventory.
  • Canceled layaway orders will be charged 10% every month on order total and any remaining if applicable will be applied toward and in store credit.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

 

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
  • CLEARANCE ITEMS are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return. Please see below for what constitutes a Clearance Item.
  • EXCHANGING ITEMS: Because of the rapid turnover of our products, we no longer have the ability to do free straight exchanges. We recommend placing a new order for any items you want that are in stock and sending back any return items to be processed for either a refund or online credit. Shipping charges are non-refundable on returns, and will be charged on new items.
  • Non-Clearance item(s) are eligible for return and a refund if returned within 14 days of receipt from us, less shipping & handling costs, unless restricted below. All refunds less shipping and handling charges will be issued to the account or credit card used for the original purchase. After 30 days maximum after the order was placed and shipped, allowing for shipping and receipt times, all returns will be rejected and returned to sender.
  • Pre-Order and Layaway items are subject to an additional 10% restocking charge. See other policy terms related to these purchases.
  • Returns can be sent within 14 days of receiving your original order. Returns postmarked or shipped after 14 days of receipt will not be accepted.
  • All merchandise returned to us must be unworn and unused with its original tags attached and all bags, boxes, packaging, etc. included. Shoes must be returned in their original undamaged shoe boxes. Items with signs of use, makeup, or the like or appearance of tag tampering or without tags will be considered used, will not be accepted as a return and will be sent back to you
  • You are responsible for the packaging, shipping cost and handling of returned items. In the event your return product is damaged during return shipping, it will be rejected and sent back to you, and you should check with your shipping provider to handle that issue.
  • Original and return shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • A minimum deduction from refunds for accepted returns of the greater of $6 per item or actual shipping costs for original shipping will be deducted from any refunds. A minimum charge of $10.00 per pair for shipping for Shoes ($15.00 for adult shoes) will be deducted for any shoes returned.
  • Send your package back to us via the most economical yet protective shipping method of your choice. Please note the tracking number from your package. Tracking and delivery confirmation is suggested, but no signature required please.
  • Please allow 10 business days for One Good Thread to process your return. All refunds will be processed to the account or credit card you used for the original purchase, or applied to your online account as indicated elsewhere in these policies.

To make a return:

  • First check to make sure the item is returnable based on the above restrictions and you are aware of the shipping and cancelation charges as applicable.
  • Email shop4you@onegoodthread.com to notify us of your return and include order number and the item(s) you would like to return and the reason for return.
  • Download, print and fill in completely the RMA Form from our website (or use the copy on the reverse side of your packing slip) and include it in the return shipping package with the items you are returning. Keep a copy for your records. Download RMA Form. Please fill this in completely. Returning just the packing slip without filling in the reverse side is not sufficient – your returned items and any refund may be delayed in processing.
  • Return your package to us using the most economical method you wish. Please note the tracking number from your package. Once your package is shipped and received, please allow up to 10 days to process your package and for your refund to appear in your account, or to your credit card.
    • Please ship the return items with insurance and tracking, as credits or refunds will not be issued for lost or “damaged while return-shipped” items.
    • Please allow 10 days upon our receipt of goods for credits or refunds to be issued.
    • Make sure that your return is shipped to One Good Thread by the 14th day from when you received it (we do track this!).

 

TROUBLE WITH YOUR ORDER?

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
  • If you believe you have a defective item, please contact us within 3 days of receipt of your order at 509-533-5437 or email us at shop4you@onegoodthread.com and attach a picture of the defect.
  • Every effort will be made to replace your defective item if contact was made within 3 days after receiving your order.
  • Once contact is made we will issue you a return label to ship back your defective item free of charge.
  • Defective items must be returned unused, with tags and packaging in place within 14 days after receipt.
  • If your defective item is not shipped or postmarked within 14 days of when your order was received your item is not returnable and the sale is final and anything returned will be rejected.
  • Some items are identified on the website prior to or at the time of sale as defective, flawed, used, damaged or otherwise non-new. These items are not eligible for return as defective items. No credit or refund will be given on these items if they are returned.

*Clearance Items are defined as any item over 30% off. This includes any promotions, temporary discounts or coupon codes including Boutique Bucks that would bring your order discount to be 30% OFF or lower.

** If your order was a pre-order and was charged through PayPal more than 45 days prior to the return, we will not be able to issue a refund to your PayPal account due to PayPal’s policies. Any returned items within the parameters of our policies will be credited to your OGT online account.

 

PRICE GUARANTEE

  • One Good Thread stands behind what you are charged on full price items.  Non Pre-Order purchases qualify for our One Good Thread price guarantee - you will be credited any difference in the amount of an item you purchase from us and for which you have paid in full, if that item goes on "premanent" sale within one week of your purchase, as long as 2 or more items of the same size and identical product remain in stock. The amount of the credit is the difference between the price you paid and the sale price. One Good Thread must be contacted within two weeks (14 days) from the time of purchase and one week of the price change to qualify. For instance, you purchase a Persnickety Hattie skirt with the Candy Apple red sash on the 15th of November for $70, and it goes on sale the 20th of November for $56. If you contact us within 7 days of the price change (i.e., by the 27th of November), you will be credited the difference ($14) on your online account which can then be used on your next purchase with us.
  • Differences can only be applied toward future purchases with us, and credits will not be given back on initial purchase payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc).  To qualify, we must be contacted within 7 days of the price change and two weeks of your original purchase and we must have at least 2 identical (color) items in stock, and be the same size.

 

SHIPPING

  • One Good Thread ships orders daily except weekends and holidays via United States Postal Service (USPS) and FedEx. We are able to deliver to APO/FPO addresses or P.O. Boxes (USPS only), and additional charges may apply for expedited service. One Good Thread prides itself on our domestic as well as international relationships, and we gladly ship worldwide every day.  Please see shipping details below.
  • All orders under $75 will be charged a minimum fee of $5.95 for shipping. Orders of $75 or more are shipped free.
  • Expedited, Overnight, Next Day and other shipping options are available for an additional charge - we always do what we can to get your package to you in the least amount of time, and in the least expensive way. Sometimes this does result in Expedited Shipping (i.e. guaranteed 3 day, excluding weekends and holidays) without any extra charge!
  • Orders with Ground Shipping typically take between 24 and 48 hours to be processed and shipped. Expedited orders placed before 2:00 p.m. PST (5:00 p.m. EST) will be shipped the same day. Weekends and holidays are excluded from processing and shipping times, so please account for non-business days when choosing your shipping method. You will receive an email with tracking information when your order has been shipped.
    You may select from Standard Delivery (4-10 days), 2nd Day Air, or Overnight (next business day) Delivery. Full payment plus credit card authorization and address verification must be received prior to shipping any order. Please note that credit card authorization can take up to 24 hours for approval. If an order is expedited, however, it may ship through FedEx and a physical address will be needed since they cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
  • We do offer Saturday delivery for some expedited orders. Some orders may be shipped using USPS, depending on delivery address. Please remember that delivery time does not include Sundays or Holidays.
  • You will be notified by email regarding back ordered items and expected delays.
  • One Good Thread will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need additional information. 
  • Most shipments include delivery confirmation with tracking and proof of delivery, accessible online via your account profile on www.OneGoodThread.comInsurance is not included and we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen shipments. Please let us know if you would like to pay additional coverage for insurance.
  • Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable if an item is returned. Returns of items shipped with free shipping are subject to a reduction for shipping and handling fees subtracted from your purchase credit of a minimum of $6 per item or actual shipping costs, whichever is greater. Returns of Shoes will result in a reduction of $10.00 per pair of Shoes ($15.00 for adults) or actual charges, whichever is greater.

Available Shipping Methods:

Domestic:

  1. .   First Class USPS – on packages 13 oz. or smaller
  2. .   Priority Mail – on packages over 13 oz. up to 2 lbs (typically)
  3. .   FedEx Ground – typically for 2 lbs+ or the packaging size is not accommodated by standard priority rates.

International:

First Class International, Priority Mail International, and Express Mail Service (based on weight, destination and availability):

  • First Class on packages under 4 lbs., and in some cases priority. Shoes will be charged actual shipping charges, or at least $10 per pair, $15 for each adult pair, or actual shipping costs, whatever is greater.
  • Expedited shipping is always an option with International Shipping, and we will do what we can to get your package to you in the least amount of time, in the least expensive way, regardless of where you are in the world. 
  • International pricing varies by location. Shipping is free for our international friends on purchases over $500. Customs or Duty charges are extra and will be billed separately if not available when order is placed.

 

Shipping turn-around time

  • One Good Thread is proud to offer quick turn around times for shipments, with most in-stock orders being processed and shipped within 1 day after an order is placed or fully paid for (weekends excepted). International orders may take longer to process.
  • For orders shipped within the US with standard shipping or First Class mail, please allow 3-6 business days for receipt of your order after the date you placed the order. For orders shipped outside of the US, please allow up to 6 weeks from placing your order to receive your products. In some cases this may be longer, depending upon customs and/or shipping delays.  Customs Duties or fees are the responsibility of the buyer and will be charged separately if not immediately available at time of order completion. 

 

GIVEAWAY & PRIZE REDEMPTION POLICIES 

Any prizes given away from our website OneGoodThread.com, or through our Social media applications such as Facebook, Pinterest, Blog, etc. must be claimed within 48 hours of notification. If the winner fails to contact OneGoodThread.com within the 48 hour period then the prize(s) will be forfeited.

 

COUPON & PROMO CODES PRODUCT EXCLUSIONS 

Pre-Order products, full-priced products, current seasonal products, or limited Collections are excluded from any current coupon codes or promotional codes OneGoodThread.com is offering at any given time.

 

BOUTIQUE BUCKS

  • Boutique Bucks are our way of showing appreciation to our loyal customers. It’s completely free and you are automatically enrolled when you create an online OGT account and purchase products. Those who checkout as a guest and do not create an online account will not be eligible to earn these rewards.
  • Once you have created your online account, you will be able to earn THREADS for every dollar you spend with One Good Thread. Once you have earned 1000 or more threads, you can redeem your threads for an in-store credit. Therefore, the more threads you earn, the more Boutique Bucks you will be able to redeem. Shipping charges and sales tax are not eligible for rewards.
