Policies

RETURNS / EXCHANGES 

Please note our policy:

All merchandise returned to us must be unworn and unused with its original tags attached and all bags, boxes, packaging, etc. included. Items with signs with tag tampering or without tags will be considered used and will not be processed. Packages must be shipped with a delivery confirmation/tracking number (no signature please).

Please allow 5-10 business days for One Good Thread to process your return or exchange. If you have any questions regarding your exchange/return please feel free to call us toll free at 1.855.533.5437

Exchanging Items

You may exchange Non-Clearance item(s)* within 30 days of shipment from One Good Thread. Clearance Items are FINAL SALE an are not eligible for return or exchange. EXCHANGES ALWAYS SHIP FOR FREE.

Defective Items

PLEASE CONTACT US AT 855.533.5437 IF YOU BELIEVE YOU HAVE A DEFECTIVE ITEM. Your defective item(s) will be replaced if contact was made within 15 days after receiving your order. Defective items must be returned unused, with tags and packaging in place. After 15 days, you must ship back items at your own expense. If we do not receive your defective item within 30 days of when first contact was made the sale is final and anything returned will be rejected. Once contact is made we will issue you a return label to ship back your defective item.

Returning Items

All Non-Clearance item(s)* are eligible for a full refund or exchange within 15 days of shipment from us, less shipping & handling costs. After 15 days an in-store credit will be given, less shipping & handling costs. After 30 days, all sales are final and anything returned will be rejected.

Pre-Order Items

Any Pre-Order item returned within 15 days of shipment will be refunded as follows: 75% of order amount to either Credit Card or PayPal** & 25% credited to your OGT account. After 15 days an in-store credit will be given, less shipping & handling costs of $6 per item returned or actual shipping costs, whichever is less. After 30 days, all sales are final and anything returned will be rejected.

Holiday Items

Holiday sales are considered final sales the day of the holiday. Packages postmarked on or after the day of the holiday will be rejected.

Returning Footwear

ALL FOOTWEAR PURCHASED AT ONE GOOD THREAD IS NON REFUNDABLE. If exchanged, buyer must pay actual shipping costs to ship back. 

Shipping Fees

A charge of $6 per item returned or actual shipping costs, whichever is less, will typically be charged on returns. REMEMBER EXCHANGES ALWAYS SHIP FOR FREE.

*Clearance Items are any item over 45% Off. This includes any promotions, temporary discounts or coupon codes that would bring your order discount to be 45% OFF or Higher.

** If your order was a pre-order and was charged through PayPal more than 45 days prior to the return, we will not be able to issue a refund to your PayPal account due to PayPal’s policies. Any returned items within the parameters of our policies will be credited to your OGT account.

TO PROCEED WITH YOUR RETURN, SIMPLY FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS BELOW:

  • Email shop4you@onegoodthread.com to notify us of your exchange or return and include order number and the item(s) you would like to return and/or exchange and reason for return/exchange.
  • Download and fill out completely the RMA form or refer to accompanied RMA form with order. Download RMA Form.
  • Please ship exchange/return with insurance/tracking, as credits/exchanges will not be issued for lost items.
  • Please allow 5-14 days upon our receipt of goods for the exchange/credit. 
  • Make sure that your return is received at One Good Thread by the 15th day that it was shipped to you.  So if a package was mailed out on the 15th of the month, it would need to be received back to us on the 30th of the same month, for a complete refund, less actual shipping and handling costs. 

PRICE GUARANTEE
One Good Thread stands behind what you are charge on full price items.  Non Pre Orders qualify for our One Good Thread price guarantee, which means you will be credited any difference in the amount of an item you purchase from us, within 2 weeks of your purchase, as long as the item purchased (any size) remains in stock of at least 3 or more, and is on sale.  One Good Thread must be contacted within 1 week (7 days) from the time of purchase to qualify.  For instance, you purchase a Pesnickety Hattie skirt with the Candy Apple red sash on the 15th of Novemeber for $70, and it goes on sale the 23rd of November for $56.  If you contact us, within 1 week of the price change (by the 30th of November), you will be credited the difference ($14) on your wesbite account with us, which then will automatically be deducted on your next purchase with us. 

Differences must be applied toward future purchases with us, and will not be given back on initial purchase payment (credit card, paypal, etc).  To qualify, we must be be contacted within 7 days and we must have at least 3 identical item in stock, which include any size, but must be the same color. 


SHIPPING
One Good Thread ships orders daily via United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS).  One Good Thread prides itself on our domestic as well as international relationships, and gladly ships worldwide every day.  Please see shipping details below

  • Domestic (based on weight and destination) 

o       First Class on packages 13 oz. or smaller.  

o       Priority Mail on packages over 13 oz. up to 2 lbs. 

o       UPS Ground 2 lbs.+ or is the size of packaging is not accommodated by the standard priority rates. 

o      Expedited shipping is always an option with One Good Thread and we will do what we can to get your package to you in the least amount of time, and in the least expensive way

 

  •  International – First Class International, Priority Mail International, and Express Mail Service (based on weight, destination and availability) 

o       First Class on packages under 4 lbs., and in some cases priority.   Shoes will be charged actual shipping charges, or at least $10 per pair, $15 for each adult pair, or actual shipping costs, whatever is greater.

o       Expedited shipping is always an option with International Shipping, and we will do what we can to get your package to you in the least amount of time, in the least expensive way, regardless of where you are in the world


Most shipments include delivery confirmation with tracking and proof of delivery, accessible online via your account profile on www.OneGoodThread.comInsurance is not included and we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen shipments.  Please let us know if you would like to pay additional coverage for insurance. 

Shipping with One Good Thread is always FREE anywhere in the United States.  International pricing varies by location.. Shipping is always FREE for our international friends as well, on purchases over $225.  


  • Turn Around Time-One Good Thread is proud to offer quick turn around times for shipments, with most in-stock orders being processed and shipped within 1-2 days after an order is placed. International orders may take longer to process.

o       For orders shipped within the US, please allow 3-6 business days for receipt of your order after the date you placed the order. For orders shipped outside of the US, please allow up to 6 weeks from receipt of your order after the date you placed the order to receive your goods and sometimes longer, depending upon customs/shipping delays.  Customs/Duties fees are the buyer’s responsibility.  

o       Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable if an item is returned or exchanged. Orders shipped with free shipping will have our standard actual shipping and handling fees subtracted from your purchase credit.


PAYMENTS
We gladly accept all major forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and PayPal. We do not accept personal checks or money orders.

COUPON CODES
Coupon code may be redeemed by entering the code in the appropriate box at checkout. Only one coupon code/offer can be applied to an individual order.

TAX
Sales tax varies amongst the different cities within Washington State, and is required by law to be charged to each customer making a purchase within Washington State.

ITEM AVAILABILITY

Please be aware that adding a particular item to your shopping cart does not guarantee that this item will be available upon checkout, as items are not removed from inventory until the checkout is completed.

SIZING
As you may know, sizing varies by designer and even within the same brand, depending upon the style and fabric used.  We know sometimes the best way to know is to measure and get real life “fit” answers based on our own experiences with a designer or particular item.  Feel free to email us at shop4you@onegoodthread.com with any sizing questions you may have. 

PRE-ORDERS
Pre-orders are purchases of a particular of a particular designer made in advance on merchandise with a later ship date, which is typically pre-season or exclusive collections available from One Good Thread. Each collection or item has an approximate shipping date detailed in the description of each item.
How to pre-order with One Good Thread:

  1. Add items labeled “pre-order” to your cart, just as you would go about making an “in stock” purchase, and go through the normal checkout process with One Good Thread.
  2. During checkout you may choose three options for your pre order. 
    •  Pay in Full - No code is needed at checkout.  Order will ship as it arrives at One Good Thread.  If there is more than a week in between the arrival of items, within a multiple item pre-order, items will ship as they become available, as "in stock" at One Good Thread.  Orders over $50 will include Free Shipping.

    • Pay 1/2 Down – Use the Code: DEPOSIT50 at checkout and 50% of the purchase price will be charged once the order is placed.  The remaining 50% will be due when the item is in stock and ready to ship.  Feel free to contact One Good Thread if you prefer to pay the order early, since this helps prevent any delays in shipping out the item(s) once in stock.
    •  Pay 25% Down – Use the Code: DEPOSIT25 at checkout and 25% of the purchase will be charged once the order is placed.  The remaining 75% will be set up on a payment plan which you will be contacted about.  You may set it up for 1 week, up to 2 months, and you may make weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly, payments.  The first payment will be due within the first week after the order is placed.   Order will need to be paid in full prior to it being shipped. 
  1. Once your pre-order is placed, we will reserve the item(s) for you, removing them from expected inventory and so PreOrders are non refundable after .
  2. When the expected inventory arrives we will ship out to those with paid orders.  For those who placed 50% down, we will notify you via email and invoice you for the remaining 50% of the purchase.  Those who have payment plans, you may forgo and pay the remaining balance at any time and get your pre-orders shipped ASAP.
  3. For those with a balance, we will ship out your pre order once your final payment has been processed. 

 

Pre-Order Cancellations, Store Credits, and Refunds
We want you to be happy with your purchases form One Good Thread, including advance purchases from us.  Therefore, you can cancel a pre order within 15 days of the pre order date, you will get your 100% down payment refunded to you, via paypal or via our secure payment system.  After the 15 day window, a store credit will be issued and applicable toward a future purchase on our website.  If an order is canceled 30 days after the preorder was placed, a 10% restocking fee will be assessed. Pre order deposits cannot be applied toward exisiting orders, other than the order the deposit was initially placed on.  Returns of purchases made from cancelled pre order deposit(s) will be issued a store credit towards a future order, less applicable shipping and handling charges.  Returns of PreOrders made over 30 days afte the PreOrder was placed are subject to an in store credit only and less actual shipping costs of the item(s).  

In the event that an item you pre ordere becomes unavailable (this is rare) or does not arrive to our store within 30 days of the expected arrival date, we will cancel upon your request and offer you a full refund on the deposit or payment towards the pre order.

Exchanges will be gladly accepted on any pre order, but please familiarize yourself with our return policy.  

Giveaway & Prize Redemption Policies 

Any prize(s) given away from OneGoodThread.com Social Networks (Facebook, Pinterest, Blog, etc.) or Website must be claimed within 7 days of notification. If winner fails to contact OneGoodThread.com within the 7 day period then prize(s) will be forfeited.
